Hello and welcome from Ontario. I made a crazy scrap quilt valance for my laundry in a previous house. I just crazy quilted onto a stablizer fabric and then cut into the desired shape and finished the edge with trim. It turned out okay

Welcome, glad you joined us. This is the best place for learning new techniques, getting help if you need just ask, and lots of inspiration. There aren't any quilt police here. Lots of friendly, talented people on board.

Thank you from Ontario. I am very knew to talking to people on-line so please bear with me. I loved your curtains in your laundry room, they are very pretty.
I really appreciate your respnse to my question and I wiil try to follow your instrctions. Like I said I really need to give myself more confidence. I have made a denim quilt and a table reunner, pot holder, all self taught, so I think I can pull this off with he basement window curtains. Thank You and have a lovely day. Kathy in Ohio
