I have been piecing quilts for about 2 years. still not as good as my mom was, and probably never will be. but I get a sense of satisfaction putting colors and prints together.
I had a professional quilter quilt 3 for me, the rest I tied.
nice meeting all of you!

Gertella

is newsprint good for paper foundation piecing? I got a roll of it free at our local newspaper office. I've never tried this technique before, little nervous!

I have taken classes and we used newsprint to sew on and it was fine. Tears off easy if you make your stitches smaller. Welcome to the board.
