hello
Hi, from Lincolnshire UK. I am 34 married with a 4yrold darling girl. I haven't been quilting for long or done any sewing since school, but so far I've made a king size memory quilt out of Jessica's baby clothes, and im in the proceeds of making a double size for my neffew. I am also about to embark on a necktie memory quilt/wall hanging(?) out of my dads ties. I am loving quilting, but sometimes am struggling to understand quilting terms (like for ages i wasn't sure what a fat quarter was - didn't help i first taught it was Fat Corner!?!). So am slowly learning from books and forums.
My husband now wants xmas quilts and another for the conservatory and our bedroom. Sometimes i think he is trying to keep me busy
Anyway so that's me saying HELLO
xx

Welcome from California!! You're beginning at an excellent point in time as there are so many instructional videos, blogs, etc. available on line. As chislett mentioned, Missouri Star Quilt Company has many excellent tutorials. Welcome aboard.
