Welcome from Lowell, MA, formerly NH. I to share your love of fabric and quilting. My mother made utilitarian quilts so none have survived. I'm the biggest quilter in the family, although I have a SIL who quilts and my oldest niece quilts too. I make quilts for family reunions, which is a big hit. The family sends fabric, I make a quilt in a colorway chosen by me, then it is raffled off. I get to do what I love with minimal cost to me and then I get some "quilting mad money" that covers my costs for the quilt. It keeps me off the streets.
