Have sewn since I was nine, started quilting when pregnant with my youngest, he'll be 24 this summer. He was two weeks late, I was putting in the last stitch on his hand quilted sampler quilt when I went in to labor. This site is great - everyone appears so friendly and helpful. The picture posting is wonderful -love seeing the fruits of eveyone's imaginations. I have lived all over the US and outside the US- always come back to NW. Collect fabric where ever I go. I keep saying I won't be able to afford it when I retire so need to build up my stash while I can.

Hi Sleepless outside Seattle. I'm Sleepless in Salt Lake. But rather than quilt (make too many mistakes that way) I try to catch up on the forum. I say "try" because at this hour I have as much trouble typing as I do sewing.
I too love the PNW and try to visit the Oregon Coast at least once a year.
