Welcome from Texas. I have a friend in the UK. We are making the same quilt together. We have shared fabric and are working at our own paces. Hers will have a blue background and mine will have a dark green background. We are loving this adventure.

I think, perhaps, the hardest part is finding twenty different fabrics lol. Two years ago I start making dolls , they are very "quirky " I just can't stop making them.Thankyou for such a warm and friendly welcome. I really appreciate your kind words and will respond to the questions about the poppies.
We are so glad you are here. I hope to make a Bargello quilt sometime. I wish you would show us a picture your quirky dolls. I'd love to see them. I loved your poppy wallhanging. You are in the right place.
