Hi, I'm Peggy from Caledonia, NY. I've been following the board for the last couple of years but never intoduced myself. I've been quilting for about 6 years but a sewer since my yearly teens. I finally took a class or two, and I was hooked, stashed fabrics, tools and patterns!
Now I have a question. Has anyone purchaced the Fabrique Slice for fabric applique. I was interested in getting this. It's a little pricey especially the dyes. Are there any designs built into the machine or do you have to purchase a set to run it?

Welcome! Was in Caledonia not long ago for a shop hop. Stopped in to Chestnut Bay and Mt Pleasant -- wish they were a little closer, but it was a pretty ride from Buffalo since we took all back roads. As for your Slice questions, I've had mixed results with it. I actually had better results using my Cuttlebug. And, Sizzix would work well. Here's a link, with step-by-step photos, of someone's review of the machine. Her results were better than mine: http://www.craftcritique.com/2011/04...way-slice.html . Good luck!
