My name is Judi and I'm not good at posting, but I figured I'd jump in and introduce myself. I've been sewing for over 50 years (started very, very young) and quilting for over 30 years. I found I am too hyper to hand quilt, but love to machine quilt, with my mid arm. I have 3 grown children, 5 grands and 2 great grandsons. With my husbands transfer to Mississippi 5 years ago, I couldn't find what I needed or wanted in fabrics, especially wide backing for my quilting machine. My fabric stash was so large that friends always said "You should open a fabric store." My answer was "Been there, done that!" After a lot of research and finding a few good distributors of wide backings, I opened an Ebay store, to fill the niche of reasonable priced wide backing. The rest is history. One of my very good customers told me about this site and I'm enjoying seeing all the beautiful quilts and reading the forums. When I figure out how to post some pictures, I get some posted.
Thank you for this great site & happy quilting everyone :)

Thanks MJ,
I'm in Meridian. I sell online only. Like I said "Been there, done that!", so this is a real blessing. This gives me a very low overhead, and I can work all night if need be and sleep until noon. And the best part is, I don't have to wear make up or put on a bra LOL. My hubby retired last year and he and my son work with me. When we get a little time off, we kayak the rivers around here. It's not like the white water in TN that we were used to, but nature is beautiful here and we are both closer to family and our home states of Florida and Louisana. Good meeting you. :-)
