I have a Juki2010Q... didn't know there was a QI, or know what is different about it. I suggest you go somewhere that sells them and talk to someone who knows Juki and also sew on the machines before you decide. A quilt show is a good place to see lots of machines and try them out, plus they make you good deals at shows.

Hi Ken and welcome! I absolutely love the TL2010Q.
It's really helped me learn FMQ.
But I don't know the difference between them except the price. Mine was not expensive even though
it's more than the Qi
Good luck whatever you get. Juki makes a good machine.

I forgot to ask why you want a Juki. The reason I bought it was for machine quilting and it does a great job. I also know that it pieces beautifully.
It's straight stitch only and mechanical which I love because it's less complicated than my Bernina. I love my Bernina but the throat space is too small for machine quilting anything on the large size.
Hope this helps, oh and we have other men on board who do wonderful work!
