I just purchased one at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt show - got to use it too! With a little practice I will be happy. Especially with the money still left n my account for other things!

Thanks for the nice welcome I have received from so many and the advice also. I have been fortunate enough for a dear friend of mine to pass along her Handi Quilter to me to see if I like it. Her family, like so many, has fallen on bad luck and had to down size. She won't accept any payment. If I can master it, she just wants me to do quilts for on the Handi Quilter. I will insist on paying her. I hope I can master this. Any advice would be great. We are picking the frame up this weekend. I'm sure it will take a bit to get it set up and running, I will be using my Juki Le 98. I will probably start a new topic asking for help with the Handi Quilter!!! Thanks,

Joyce in Georgia

You are one lucky lady. Maybe your friend would accept a thank you quilt more readily than money if you are able to make her one. It would be a gift of the heart that would last a life time.
