Thanks to all of you for the great welcomes!! I am starting a new subject about advice I can get about the earlier model Handi Quilter. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, my best friend from school has given me her Handi Quilter so I will need help!! Thanks so much... Ganma/Joyce

I own the Ken Lund frame. I made a few changed, simple put a coat of varnish on it and changed the way I hooked up the tracks so I can easily take it down when not in use. I love working on this frame! I use the Juki 98TL Q with it and it handles very well.

I will be setting it up again in a day or so and will be sure to get a pix. I use my sewing room as an occasional guest room and so it is down right now, (daughter visiting). That was why I chose this frame, I can take it down in less than 2 mins! I will get one up as soon as I can.
I also made 2 sets of tracks and rods, one is 96" and the other is 50" to accommodate either a bed quilt or lap, baby quilts.

Your experience with this frame is so positive. A dear friend has given me her Handi Quilter. We almost have it ready to go. I too want to see your pictures when you get them posted. Ganma7

Ganma7, good luck with your Handi Quilter. You are lucky to have such a friend.
I will post as soon as I get it set up again. I love the kids coming but I have a stack of flimsy that I want to get to and for me, the quilting is the best part! Good therapy!
