Default Me? Quilting? Who'd a thunk it????

Covid . . . masks . . . and the rest is history! I'm quite new to this obsession and am loving it. Started in late June and made 3 quilts for family members for Christmas. This after not touching a sewing machine for about 40 years! And did all this with a 1964 model Singer Touch & Sew! Great machine, just not exactly the cutting edge quilting machine! BUT, it worked for everything except free motion. Of course, I don't work so well for free motion yet either!

I'm excited to have found this forum as it appears there is a wealth of information and experience!

Hello everyone!

Tam in Texas

Welcome to the QB and more excitedly to quilting! The machine doesn't matter it is that it does what you needed it to do for you at the time. The majority of my machines are older than 1964 though I do have a few from the 60's. Currently I am using one from the 80's. Play and have fun there is a lot to learn here and many who are more than willing to teach along the way. Jump right in and join the fun. Again welcome to the QB.

Welcome and enjoy that Juki. I always say the best machine is the one you use.
