I have said for years that I would learn to quilt as soon as I could sign up for a class and not miss half of them due to my children's ballgames, school board meetings and work. The time finally arrived and I just completed my first class and my very first quilt! Now I am completely hooked on quilting and am having the time of my life! I have converted my upstairs loft into a quilting room and my husband has turned a wall into a quilting wall for me. Next decision is with both kids off to college, which of their room's do I take over to put all the fabric I seem to be collecting into.

If you can pull it off, claim both of them! One for your stash - and one to work in.

Lori- Welcome! I'm a newbie too. I took over my daughter's bedroom when she went off to school. If you can have two rooms....claim them both right away...you'll be glad you did later.
