Hello to Finch and Kimmers. I have lived in DeLand, Fla for 23 yrs, but moved away and living in TN for 30 years. My mom and dad were in DeLand, then South Daytona, then finally migrated to Tn when they became ill. Welcome to the quilting board, you will love it here. The best board I have ever found, full of talented men and women who love to quilt.

I was born and raised in Deland and then after I got divorced moved to Daytona just before moving up here 6 years ago. Was just back home in January and can't believe how much has changed in 6 years and how much Deland has grown! So glad to see others from my hometown! I love this board!! I don't usually comment alot but I look at the posts every single day…so many ideas and hints and help from wonderful people!

Hi.I lived in Deland back in the 70's. I worked at Sherwood. My son graduated from Deland high school. I moved to West Virginia in 1987.Moved back here to Deltona last April. What a difference in this place!! Won Lees is still in Deland, thank goodness.Excellent Chinese food.Everyone has moved away,so it is really hard getting adjusted all over again.Miss my friends.
