New here!
Hi everyone!
I'm new here but super excited to be in such a fun group! I don't have a quilt club nearby, but I have always wanted to meet and chat with other quilters!
I've been quilting since I was a teenager, when I was determined to teach myself how to sew. I didn't know anyone to teach me how, but I wanted to quilt so badly. I literally had never seen a quilt before! So I went to the local library and checked out "The Complete Idiots Guide to Quilting"... And it worked! Here I am several years later making baby quilts for my children :-)
I love quilting best, but my other hobbies are cross stitching (quilts), crocheting (quilts!) and knitting and cooking and spending time with my family.
I look forward to chatting with you all!

This is a great place to chat with quilters. You will get lots of help and get to know some amazing people. Everyone is so supportive and encouraging.
