Hi Jill - welcome from Flagstaff and Glendale AZ. It was exciting to see a post from Flagstaff. I live here in the summer and Glendale in the winter. I too have to kick my self a little to get going on a new quilt, and I am a slow quilter which drives me a little crazy - too much of a perfectionist. I quilt with some other gals, who are also here for the summer, for a shelter for battered and homeless women. Would you like to join us on a Monday morning? I also play bridge with Flag gals, some of whom are teachers here.

I have been retired for 1 year now and after a month of only eating and sleeping I began to dig in the fabric. I keep scraps handy so I piece as I watch TV. One day a week I go to the local quilt shop to sew with them. That gives me an outing with the girls and NO husband and dog to deal with > I do love them but my fabric calls my name. Hugs
