Hello everyone from Texas! I'm a brand new member as of today. I've made 9 quilts so far. My favorite quilt pattern is the carpenter's star. I love making quilts for each of my grandchildren, in their favorite colors. My sewing room is a huge display of organized chaos! I usually send my quilts out to a longarm lady. (3 of my quilts I've handquilted tho.) I feel that I'm just now getting decent wat making quilts, but I also have a lot more to learn and I want to try and improve at working with triangle pieces. I like to attach bindings by sewing by machine to the front, then hand sewing to the back. My mother and both grandmothers were quilters.
