New quilting guy
My mom, AZTeri has been quilting off an on for a long time, and just got both me and my son into quilting. I finished my first quilt, my own design, in pretty good time, doing most of the sewing either late at night, or on my days off. My son has his first one started, though he isn't in town right now, but when he gets back, he is excited to finish it. He won't even let my mom do any of it for him. 
Here's a picture of my first, I'm about half done with the top of the second, which is taking less time, relatively (the first was a coffee table runner, second is a small bed quilt).

Welcome to the Quilting Board. You're going to love it here. There are so many quilters that know so much and do beautiful work. Everyone is always willing to help with suggestions when you have a question. Thanks for sharing your photo of your work. I look forward to seeing more.

Welcome aboard! Nice work. So does your mom have an ulterior motive? LOL just kidding. Hope you and your son have a wonderful quilting experience and that there are many things to come from you in the future.
