Hi there I am Sandy aka Mimi & Mom from Ohio. I am a wanna be quilter ( I do quilt but if a "real" quilter saw my quilting they would probably feel sorry for me. But I have made everyone of my grandchildren (5) when they were born and I made my daughter and son-in-law a quilt for their 5th anniversary with all the children's (the one's they at the time) handprints and ages embroidered on squares and my daughter's and son-in-law's handprints, ages and their wedding date embroidered on blocks also. If I do say so myself it came out pretty cute and I had fun doing it.

Hi and welcome from the greater Los Angeles area. Most of my quilts are very amateur, but I keep at it. Do you have a picture of the one with the embroidered hand prints? Sounds very cute.

Thank you. Right now I don't have any pictures but as soon as I learn how to navigate this web site and get a digital camera I will most definitely try to get some pictures to all of you
