I must admit that I have lurked on this board for a very long time. I started to quilt about 2 years ago. It's going slowly, but I must tell you that I have learned SSSSSOOOO much from all of you generous and wonderful people!!! THANK YOU!
Last night I read that someone was looking for a good little "starter" machine that wouldn't break the bank. I just bought one this weekend at the Phil. Quilt Show. It's a Babylock 9. I was looking for a lightweight machine that didn't have all the bells and whistles. This is not a computerized machine, but it sews like a dream. The sales lady told me they just started to make it about 3 months ago in response to the economy for people who wanted to get into sewing. Are you ready for this???? BRAND NEW - $199.00. I was lucky enough to get it for 50% off at the show. Just thought I'd share this with you. Again, thank you for all your help and information!! :-)
