I've stopped at Cottage Quilts a number of times. There's the Blue Bambo in Plymouth though I haven't been there in ages, Quilted Treasures in Rogers, and there's always Grubers in St. Cloud but that's quite a bit farther for you to to drive.
Maybe the 3 of us could get together and share some of our quilting experiences with each other.
PM me.

I would love to get together. I work from home and my DH is always telling I need to get out of the house more!

Then that's what you need to do. I know I wouldn't have to be told more than once to do it.

having a preschooler and toddler make it a little more challenging! My DH goes to a pool league every week and I feel bad if I'm gone one night a week besides! Bad Mommy to not take of myself besides!

I would love to get together! I shop mostly at either Quilted Treasures in Rogers or Four Seasons Quilts in Plymouth (Rockford Road and 169). I LOVE Blue Bamboo (off of Hwy 55 in Plymouth) and get there as much as I can but I really have to know what I want before I go because they have so much! I've been to Fat Quarters in Coon Rapids, but not really since they opened (I lived in Champlin so it was a little closer than southern MG!). I started quilting at Quilter;s Basket which was in Maple Grove off of Zachary, but she closed down a few years ago. I still do my quilt retreat with her and her group twice a year so it has been a nice connection to keep!

My kids are 2nd and 3rd grade (in September) so they are a little more manageable when it comes to mommy getting out on her own.

Again, would LOVE to get together!

Welcome from CT! I was born in MN, but moved to CA at age 2 1/2, so I can't claim to be a REAL Minnesotan.

If you need to find the posts you've made or that someone else has made, click on your/their name in this or any thread. It will show you how many posts you've made and how many topics you started. Click where it says "The number of topics started by you/them". It will list all of the topics. You can then choose the one you want to look at.

Hi! It's nice to meet some close by quilters! Now there are 4 of us up here in the NW metro on here that I know of. If you look back thru this thread, there is Deb in Blaine and Steph in Maple Grove also!

Thanks for the reply. I know there are more of use out there. I stopped at the Northtown Library last fall and there was a group of quilters in one of the meeting rooms. They said they would e-mail me when they had their next meeting but never heard from them again. I visit Mill End in Fridley on a regular basis, you have to check their material for flaws, but I've found some great material there.
