I have been reading this site for some time now--lurking in the background. I saw the post about our stashes and how important they are. I found out the 'real importance' this week. So that post is there.
I sew mostly for everyone else, LOL! Hubby says I give everything away. He is mostly right, shhh, did I just say that? LOL! I have only made kid size quilts but love them and yes, gifts for others. Maybe someday I will have a grandchild to make one for!
I am 58, married--forty years next month, have a son, 28 who is getting married in September, 2 dogs and 2 cats.
And just went through a major flood in our neighborhood.And it isn't over yet. It will take months of work for all of us to recover, if not years.
