Howdy and welcome, from TX!

I agree, 100%! Unfortunately, some people simply don't seem to know how to write patterns/instructions.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. You would think that before publication someone would have actually tested the pattern. Very disappointing!

Hi and welcome from NE Ohio. I agree also. Had a purse pattern that was badly written. I was so frustrated with the whole thing that I threw the whole thing including the pattern in the fire.

That is so frustrating and I agree. I seldom follow a pattern. Perhaps just to get me going. I put the block together and once in a while I will look at a direction. As time goes on you will see what needs to happen and do it without thinking. I agree that for that kind of money, a pattern should be tested.

Hang in there and keep quilting. I really enjoy my EQ software and trust it more than most patterns.
