I'm not trying to hide. I'm from Maine. Just started quilting after 'forced retirement". Double mastectomyl last year with MS with fibromyalgia. Quilting is relaxing for me. Although the addiction to fabric has been with me for a long time because I have always like to sew. Teaching myself to quilt while reading about all you all have to teach. Thank you quilters.

Welcome!! Glad you find quilting relaxing. It's just the ticket for healing what ails you. (I know it's not a cure-all, but some days it makes me forget the problems I have... And that's good for a lot! )
I'm glad you found the board. As you progress, I hope you will share pictures so we can cheer for you!! |
Welcome, from Corinth, MS. We love new quilters, it makes our addiction sound so reasonable - You know, SHE does it!
I have fibro also, and quite a few other oddball health issues. Quilting is my therapy also, but I can't say it's cheaper than a therapist for me. My stash continues to grow small mountains in my home. Post some of your stuff. We love pix. |
