I live in a small town in north central Minnesota. Sewed my first stitches by treadle machine. Made first dress at 12 from flour sacks. Ended up sewing for a family of seven. began a 30yr stint as a shop owner bossing around up to 35 sewers at one time. The whole time I was dreaming of the day I could retire and sew quilts. That happened in 2000!! Never lost the love of fabric. All my daughters(6) sew also. We hoard q. mags. and fabric and my first daughter dyes beautiful colors for herself and shared with us. We are a very happy group with thread in our dna!also love shopping the 'net :)
