OH! GARDEN!!! since your summers are so short!
When we drove up to AK, on the Alcan, I was amazed at the beautiful striking colors and size of some of the plants.
Of course, if you have some spare time, you can always go fabric shopping and "plan" the quilts you'll make in the long dark days of "fall-winter-spring".

Welcome Nyla from Texas. We were in your most beautiful state last year for a month. Even though it was mostly rainy and wet, we enjoyed every minute of it. Enjoy this board as I do.
