Hello. I am so glad I found this site. I so love talking about quilting. OK about me.

I grew up in Brooks, Alberta. My parents immigrated to Canada (via the US) from India. I married a doctor from India in 1984. Both of my kids were born in Calgary, Alberta. As I said in my profile I love fabric and sewing and knitting and embroidery and fabric ( fabric needs to be mentioned twice). I hoard fabric. I have lived in many cities following my husband as he developed his career. (Calgary, Toronto, Quebec, back to Calgary, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Bangalore and now Chennai.) When we moved to India I made sure that all my fabric (3 boxes full) and all my yarn (another 3 boxes) and all my crafting supplies (?? boxes) moved with me. Oh yea, the younger child and the dog came too.

I learned to quilt when a neighbour in Brookfield, WI invited me to her 'quilting group'. Well I so enjoyed hanging out with those ladies for nearly 10 wonderful years. The group was called 'Colliding Geese' and they had been meeting every other Wednesday since the mid 1980s. My addiction to fabric moved into high gear.
