Thank you, thank you for the welcomes! My profile picture is my first stab at making a Hawaiian quilt pillow. It was in a gallery show a few summers ago. It took what seemed like forever to make. But I enjoyed it, which is why (a few projects later) I'm now working on a quilt for the bed. Who knows how long that will take! :wink:

Welcome from MO. I just returned from Hawaii last week. I love you state,
have been there many times. This time I took a quick lesson in Hawaiian quilting. I make a small pineapple "thing". This was my first attempt at needle turn applique, I was rather proud of myself, I did pretty good. I bought a pattern to make a pillow, we'll see how that goes. Please post some pics.
