Hello Everyone!
I live in the cactus patches of Western Texas with my DH who is disabled. I am a care giver to him & we are pretty well housebound. I was a nurse for 40 years, the last 14 as the head of the nursing department in the ER/Trauma unit of one of the local hospitals. I took up quilting when I retired as a quieter form of living. (ha ha) Unfortunately, there were/are no quilters in my family so it is teach myself, an ever evolving process! We have 2 daughters, 5 grandchildren, & 7 G-grandchildren. (And yes, I am as old as dirt! ) I like mostly traditional quilting, with applique being my favorite form. I will usually put applique of some sort on the most traditional of patterns. Thanks for having me on board! Riley |
Lots of patterns and tutorials online, and plenty of sharing folks here. Glad you could join in.
