Hello,
As my name says from NM. I am new to quilting (since 2016) when I was gifted a new sewing machine (from my parents) for my dream of quilting. I have made 9 quilts so am still very new since the count does not go over my ten fingers. :D I joined the Quilting Board Forum recently because I found myself 'stalking' to see what others were doing or writing about. I am ready to join in the conversation, learn from others, and encourage them in their endeavors. Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and ideas and believing that this grandmother of 7 babies and preschoolers can learn a new skill. My desire is to piece and quilt my own quilts so maybe someday I'll get a HQ Sweet 16 as my next progression. FMQ with a sit down or long arm, hmmm which one? For now learning on my domestic machine.

I joined LQS for 'Gypsy Wife" by Jen Kingman. I think this may be a little too challenging for me. I'm jumping in and hoping the water is fine. God bless you

This is a great place to learn new techniques from others. Remember everyone is new at some time. Don't be afraid of your chosen project. You will be amazed at what you learn by challenging yourself. Most of all, have fun and enjoy your adventure!
