Anna

Good afternoon from New Mexico

I have been quilting for a while, I would not say I am an expert by any means, I have made 5 quilts so far. I am looking for a designer program that is possibly free online to help me design a quilt. If you can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. I am a pencil and graph paper girl so I can’t help with a free computer design site.

A warm welcome from Southern Indiana....and good luck finding a design program. If it is to be found, someone that posts on this board will know it! This board is a wealth of information.

Hello from Texas! So glad you joined the Quilting Board & it sounds like you are well on your way to being a great quilter. This is the only free online quilting design program that I am familiar with. I'm not very good with things like this but my daughter helped me try to learn how to use it a few years ago. I think I've forgotten everything that I learned as I did not ever really use it much. I hope this helps you.

Hello and welcome, I'm waving from the Left Coast, Seattle area. I'm so glad to hear you want to design your own projects, for many people that is scary territory. For others of us, just the way we think.

I use graph paper and Electric Quilt myself, good luck on your search -- you might want to take note of this site which I use quite a lot:

Quilt design stuff is sort of in the middle, but I've used the dots and such too.

You might also check out this site, it has a quilt design section I've never used although I've used other portions of the site.

Hi. Welcome!
Great question. I'm glad you asked it, because I just learned something new too. :)

Here's one more. This one is especially good for applique designs:
