Hello there! My name's Paganquilter, and I'm a quilting addict. *chorus of hello's*

Seriously, all that aside, this looked like a very promising forum, and a haven for fellow quilting addicts. I look forward to posting around more and getting to know you. :-)

With pleasure! :-) I'd also be pleased to share one or two of my own quilt designs in PDF format, for those who would be interested. Is there a special section here for uploads like that?

Thanks for the welcome. I had family in Mass. once, but they passed away early in October.

Hello and welcome from Southern California!!

Welcome to the Board paganquilter, from SoCal! Looking forward to seeing some pictures of your work. :D
If you look on the home page, each section has a description of the kinds of things that should be posted there. I would guess that your patterns could go in either the classified or tutorial sections.

Glad to be here! First day and already I'm in one swap, considering a potential block swap. What a warm and welcoming group this is. It's like... well, like one giant quilt! :D

Paganquilter 11-03-2008 06:24 AM

Thanks for the compliment. :) My avatar is one of my many quilt designs that I haven't gotten around to executing yet. The original file was lost when my computer went kaputz on me, but I could re-create it using the avatar as a guideline.

Anybody care to take this pattern for a spin?

Thanks for the welcome. :) I still do have family in RI, in the E. Providence area.

Paganquilter 11-03-2008 07:14 AM

I saw that recipe on the list. Is it a soup suited for a slow cooker? Looked awfully tempting (lactose intolerance notwithstanding, I'd be tempted to throw caution to the wind this time!)

Hi Paganquilter. Welcome from Georgia. Glad to have you with us. We will be more than happy to help you with your addiction--because we all have it bad too!!!

pocoellie 11-03-2008 04:01 PM

I would definitely like the pattern, but not if it really difficult. I just don't have the time or patience if it's difficult.

Paganquilter 11-03-2008 06:51 PM

It's an untested pattern, so I'm not quite sure how to rate the difficulty.

I would be interested. I especially love the colors you used in your picture. Purple is my favorite!!!

Paganquilter 11-03-2008 07:18 PM

Okay, so that's two takers. You're a brave soul, going into uncharted waters like this. Especially since I'm hoping to one day publish a book of my own patterns!

Jim's Gem 11-03-2008 07:21 PM

Well..... you will need someone to test your patterns to make sure that they are readable and all!!!

Sounds good! Looks like I've a lot to keep me busy this week, then. :)

Lake Champlain area. I could look right out the front door and see the water. :)

Blue Bell 11-04-2008 07:56 PM

That is a pretty area. We have been up to Burlington and Stowe several times. VT is my favorite away from home state!
