Another new member here
Hello! I just arrived today, another Canadian from Ottawa, Ontario.
I taught myself to quilt when I was in my early teens, and have made several quilts, all by hand. Recently, however, I've gotten into vintage sewing machines, and have started sewing clothes. Maybe I'll be able to blend both interests and figure out how to make quilts by machine! It's very interesting reading about all the old machines everyone has, and how they've restored them. I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions as I try to work on my own machines. |

Welcome from Manitoba-Winnipeg.. I started with sewing clothes, then quilting was and still is a challenge so much
perfection/precision.. But wouldn't change it for the world.. Every quilt is better than the last quilt.. Seeing progress is my joy, comparing to others not there yet.. Love all the quilt shops.. |
Welcome sister. YES on QB we are all sisters even have a few brothers on board. Come on down to see me in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
