Another Newbie from Oklahoma
 

Greetings from Oklahoma! I'm a very new "newbie" and have just started sewing again for the first time since high school (40 something years ago). I'm a 61 year old grandma of two, recently retired and have found making rag quilts to be my new passion. Don't know that I'll be brave enough to venture into the world of "real" quilting, but loving what I'm doing right now. This looks to be an amazing place to gather info and make new friends.

That's what I've found, Raindyday, but it's a better addiction than most! Just started sewing in late September and I'm on my 6th quilt. I like that they are so "forgiving". LOL Thanks for the welcome.
