I have been hand quilting since I was about 8 years old. My mother always made the quilts and us girls were taught how to help her quilt. Since she is 93 & no longer able to quilt, thought someone in the family should learn to make quilts. I am loving it so far, but it goes S L O W. I am retired, married (newly wed-less than a year) mother of 5, grandmother to 15 and "gammy" to 6 great- grandchildren. I love reading the message board and have already picked up some good pointers.
