I've just joined the Quilting Board. It's a great way to learn new things and meet other quilters. I'm a transplant from Massachusetts and a long time quilter and quilt teacher. Hope you guys all get get to Houston for the International Quilt Festival and to visit the Texas Quilt Museum in LaGrange,TX.

Welcome from another Houstonian. I'm from Illinois, but have been living here for 27 years now. I love the tropical weather, and the flowers. I quilt too, have been for about 7 years now. I get better and better every time I make a quilt. I am now in the process of trying to quilt feathers on my quilts, and it's not working out too well. I will keep trying though. It would be great to meet you some time, I am always looking for a new friend.
