Hi, my name is Suzanne Hulse from White Hall, Arkansas about 35 minutes south of Little Rock. I love to quilt although I haven't been doing it but about two years. I also love to machine embroider. My brother is so heavy and bundlesome I bought a small brother machine to take to quilt quild. My problem is the pedal. I have to push it way down to get started and then it "goes wild". I can let up on it and it slows but I don't like to start off fast. Has anyone else had this problem and what can be done about it. Thanks!!!

Hi and welcome from the sunny state of Florida! I don't have that kind of machine, but I'm sure someone on the board does and can tell you what to do.

Hello and welcome from SW Iowa. Glad to have you here. My sons machine was like that so I called and they sent him another. This one works fine.

Hello, and welcome fom Missouri! My sister lives in LR.
I would call Brother and see what they say about your issue with the pedal.

Gee Susanne, it wounds like your Brother was made by Toyota. Is there a recall in the future?

I emailed them and what the tech said to do hasn't helped. I am thinking about calling. Person to person always seems to help. I have a granddaughter and her husband stationed at Whiteman AFT in MO. She said they have had more snow in MO than when they were stationed at Hill AFB in Utah. At least she is closer to home and can get here or her parents there in around 7 hours. :)
