Artistic26 longArm quilting machine
Good morning everyone. I am new to this forum. I have an Artistic 26 long arm and I have not been able to get any service/help on this machines since I’ve had it for the last three years. The salesman who I bought it from has disappeared and every time I try to get information from the company, no one returns my phone calls. It’s a shame because I have not been able to use this machine. So I am reaching out to anyone that could give me some information. I am in the Colorado Springs area and if anyone can send me in the correct direction would be greatly appreciate. . Thank you very much.

Have you tried sewing machine repair shops in the area? My OSMG repairs long arms one or two days a week. I have not idea how much it costs but it seems like it would be worth it to get it fixed without taking it in

What kind of problems are you having with the machine?

thank you very much for responding. There are several areas that are giving me trouble, missing stitches only going one way when the machine is in motion. What upsets me is that this was not a cheap machine but when I Made the payment The salesman disappeared. Very upsetting. I am going to try a couple of other sewing machine stores in Venice and Sarasota, Florida to see if someone can help me. |
It might be helpful to join a Facebook group for long arms. The members could probably help you problem solve things. There might be a group for your specific machine too - try looking for that maybe?

I just looked up the machine - it looks very similar to a Tin Lizzie but with a bigger throat space (they were 18"). Might find some help at one of their groups too.

Missed stitches, shredded thread, bad tension, etc. - these are all common problems that every longarmer needs to learn to solve, and it takes time and patience (lots of it, sometimes). This will be the case even if you buy another machine. Since your longarm has never worked right, it's possible that it only needs some adjustments. Is there anyone in your area, perhaps another quilter, who could come over and help you trouble shoot the machine? (I would, but I'm too far away.)
