Hi, I am back to my sewing after a long spell of not sewing. We just moved (retired) to So. Mo. and are building our log home (very primitive). I will have a beautiful quilt room with big windows so I can look out over our 60 acres. I can hardly wait. We are currently living in our barn & haven't been able to sew much. In eve after working on house I started making yo-yo's. I now have a quilt to fit a dbl. bed made all from yo-yo's. Then I english paper pieced a beautiful quilt from the book Primitive Quilts by Laurie Simpson. I have it on the frame ready to hand quilt.
Looking forward to chatting!!!! The Rustic Quilter |
Hi and welcome! Your house project sounds very much like a friend of mine who moved to the same area and built a log home. Can't wait to see pics of what you are doing!

Hi and welcome from Washington. Your retirement home sounds like it will be lovely (and peaceful). Glad you found some hand work to keep you busy until your sewing room is ready for you. :-)
