Hi and welcome from the West Coast of Florida. I bought the Batting Buddy and pattern, but have yet to use it.

Yes this is it, by Fun and Done, it is an all in one template for a quilt square, batting an and backing.

They have several quilt as you go (Fun and Done) patterns that you can use the batting buddy with....
I personally don't like the quilt as you go idea, so I gave mine to someone else. But if you like the QAYG, it might be worth the investment, though a little pricey. On the other hand, you can cut your own squares to fit the pattern.

Hello and welcome from Ontario.

it would be great for those raggy quilts, the first one i made called for your batting squares to be 1" smaller all the way around than the top and bottom...that way the batting does not 'stick-out' in the raggy edges. , that is why we (quilt-stitch) the x across the squares before joining them. would also be useful for quilt as you go projects.
