Since I am just starting with the addiction, I have purchased everything from Ebay or Joann's. And I have only made one trip to the Joann's in Pittsfield once, the rest I have purchased online. I work full time and quilt at night after dinner and dishes, so it doesn't leave alot of free time for shopping. I hope I have replied correctly. LQS does mean local quilt shop, correct?

I also have been lurking and I also am from Iowa. Have just started making throws and tying them and am looking for something more challenging. I have seen some pretty amazing things in the last 2 days! I saw appliquing (?) looked like a sun burst. 5 pieces cut from one square then applied to other farbric, but can not find it again. Does anyone know whatg I am talking about?
