I am a retired lady that has been quilting for the past 10 years, learning a lot more than I will ever be able to put into much use. When I started out I wanted to do it all.......LOL.....over the last couple of years I have settled into mostly piecing, paper piecing, and machine applique. The hand work does make my hands ache. However, I do enjoin embroider and am in the process now of doing some stuff for Christmas. I like to listen to audio books on my MP3 player and I do this while hand stitching. My DH is also retired and seems to like only TV so I spend most of my time at the machines. Thank God for my hobby.
I look forward to learning and just enjoying you folks here. I do belong to another quilting forum at another site and it has been great inspiration for me.

Hello, and welcome from Missouri!
When I saw Galt, I thought of Ayn Rand's book, Atlas Shrugged. Guess it is time for a re-read. :?

Sorry to be blank, but can you explain the reference???? I did read Atlas Shrugged many, many years ago........
