Cathy in Kentucky
Hello, thanks for letting me join.
I will poke around a bit in the forums looking for any and all info on the Minnesota Model A. I have my great grandmother's machine. I think she was the original owner. Her daughter-in-law, my mamaw, traded a calf to her for the machine. Looking thru google, this board seemed to come up again and again. Looking forward to getting to know you guys. |

Hi Cathy, welcome to the board!
What a treasure you have! There is a section specifically for vintage machines here and the people know what they're talking about. Hope you post a picture of it. |
Thank you all for being so nice.
I will take a few photos and post them. I'm hoping to restore the machine to as close to original as possible. Last time it was checked it still worked, but there's no one left that knows how to use it. I'm hoping to find a manual, and then the biggest hope... to make a very simple quilt on the machine. I am not a sewer, but if I can do this, I will be the fourth member of my family to make a quilt on that machine. My great grandmother, grandmother, father and hopefully one day, me. |
