You might consider the Martelli Rotary Cutter. I love the one I have. It requires less pressure to use and you use your hand in a different manner. It comes in right or left handed versions.

I have heard good reviews on Martelli Rotary cutters http://www.martellicatalog.com/mm5/m...tegory_Code=RC

Ditto on the Martelli Rotary Cutters. It's all we use for our miles and miles of shop cutting. The blades last forever too.

Hi Cathy, welcome from Lebanon Oregon. I have seen some ergonomic rotary cutters, never tried them before. Nancy's notions sells one and there is the Martelli Rotary cutter also which is made for people with arthritis and carpal tunnel.

I have some scissors, I think they are Fiskars, with padded handles and springs in the hinges, so very little effort is required to cut - I have snips, large shears and pinking shears - I swear by them, they don't wake up my carpal and I can cut anything that I can't use my rotary cutters on.
