Central Florida & new to sewing
Hello everyone :-) I live in central Florida, and I am new to sewing. I found this message board by conducting a search for adjustment of long bobbin winder assemblies for treadle sewing machines . someone actually took the time to write down the steps. I already had mine apart and put back together, when I found the post here, but it was great to see there actually was a resource Here after such much searching and coming up empty-handed. I wanted to go on that page if I can find it again, and add some photos and a few other notes about my experience with the bobbin winder cam for the 127 sphinx model-1910.
I have a singer 201–2 potted motor from 1938 as well. Also three vintage Kenmore sewing machines. I've been sewing about three months and people like to give you sewing machines :-) both of my grandmothers were excellent seamstresses but they didn't have the patience to teach me. I'm trying simple things at first. All my best to you all. This is a lovely message board. |

Welcome from the FL Panhandle. You are in prime quilting territory in Central Florida. It seems like there is a shop every 30 miles apart.
