Hello, to all of you. I found you while looking for any damage at Scarborough Ren Faire in Waxahachie, TX.

So, you know I am from TX and I live in Garland. My husband is retired and I have been retired all of our married life. We have been married 44 years and have seven children and almost eleven grandchildren.

I made my first quilt block when I was about twenty-five. Gave up quilting due to a bad expierence with a quilt group I wanted to join. After my time with needlepoint, counted cross stitch, crocheting and knitting, I came back to quilting. I am now having more fun than anyone has a right to. LOL

My DH, Lowell, is now collecting stash (small flower fabric). He takes me to quilt shops all over the country. Last year, we went to Hancocks of Paducah in Kentucky. Before that we went to Minnesota and went to 23 quilt shops....all his idea.

I love Civil War fabrics and the history of quilting. I also love the soft florals. I have a few quilts in various stages of being done.

So, that is a bit about me. Hope to meet some of you on line.

Connie
