Hello
I am new to this website as you can see. So just attached a photo of my Quick Step runner. This technique is sure fun to do as when your finished your done! A person does not need to take your project to the longarm quilter. As you can see from my tea stain runner to make a quilt you just keep quilting blocks and adding them together. Hello
I think the class you took was different from this Cotton Theory. In this technique you work with one inch seams. I have done your quilt as you go too but love this Cotton theory better. The projects are finished off better too if you have a Pfaff machines with those nice joining stitches also embrodiery facility. I am not familiar with Berninas but I am sure they have some nice stitches too. Placemat with embroidery work |
Welcome to this world, Mrs Cotton Theory. I love this quilting. I am not an instructor, but sure wish I was. Can't afford to go north to get certified. I have taught myself how to do this with both of Betty Cotton's books and dvd. Also, I just finished doing her new reversible jacket and it is amazing ! Thank you for posting your pictures. It is hard to find anything anyone else has done using this method/technique.
