Welcome aboard, Carol, from central Illinois. There are "open retreats" every two months at Threads of Time in Danville, Illinois that you might be interested in too. Check them out. The next one start this Sunday afternoon at 3pm and goes till 1pm Thursday. You can go for as many of those days as you want at $35 per night. Bring your own sewing equipment, supplies, and food. There's microwave and fridges there plus irons, ironing boards, cutting tables, design walls, etc. Wonderful retreat center with attached LQS that's equally fabulous.
http://www.threadsoftimefab.com It's just across the state line, Bowman Ave. exit, S. to Perrysville road, turn right follow that road around through the next stop sign. 4 blocks after the stop is ToT! You Indianans should come over sometime. You could also set up your own retreat there if you want. Just call for booking times. The next scheduled open retreat after this one will be in September. |

Hi Carol, so nice to see you on here. Are you rested up from the stay in Marion? I'm still not all unpacked! It was so much fun, and I didn't realize how tired I was until I got home. After a lunch out with my husband, I slept most of Sunday afternoon! I'm looking forward to next year in Marion, and also the State Quilting meets. They sound like so much fun!!!
