Hello everyone! I saw on LadyQuilter's blog that she was participating in a Mystery Quilt and listed this site....
Well, once I came here I saw that it was perfect for me!

I just picked quilting back up after a 20 yr break to get married, have kids, become an expert in my career, and get the kids to elementary school. Now that they are in 1st and 3rd I have a little free time between 8pm-10/11pm and instead of playing facebook games I'd much rather make quilts or fix up my vintage sewing machines while hanging out with my wonderful husband (notice I didn't say clean my house...).

I completed 2 small quilts based on this wonderful blog
http://sewinginthewendycity.blogspot.com/
And each time learned more and more.

I have a pretty piece all put together based on Missouri Quilt Co tutorials on YouTube and now I'm trying to figure out what to use to set the free motion pattern on the top.

I ordered 24 yards of gorgeous quilting material from a store going out of business and expect it any day!

The Member Swaps look like so much fun! I can't wait to join one!

Thanks for having me! Jami in Danville, California

Welcome from a fellow Californian! What vintage machines do you have? I have a Singer Featherweight, 403a Slant-a-matic & have a 15-91 in the works. You should come join us in the Vintage Sewing Machine Shop sometime:

I wondered where you were when you weren't traveling the world buying machines :)
