done lurking.. from Canton GA
Hi My name is Melinda and I live in GA. I have sewn most of my life and started playing with quilting a few years ago. But due to multiple moves with my job, I am still a newbie at the quilting. I love to do art quilts more than traditional but have been admiring the quilts posted here for some time. there are some really talented quilters on this site!!! My main machine is a Baby Lock Quilter pro for piecing and a Viking mega quilter for fmq. but my weakness is vintage machines and I have a number of them.. a 221, 301, 201, and some others. plus a serger and a Necchi for special stitches. lol ok, I am addicted to older machines... I am blessed in that the house I bought here has a huge lower level (walk out basement) which is my sewing room.. I call it the woman cave... and since it is just me and my two cats and little old doggie.. there is no one to argue with me :)
